                November 16, 2009  My 10 lb Steelhead on a fly on the Douglaston Salmon RunCaught in bright sunlight.

I also hooked another 10 fish on this day as well.

 

 

 

 

    At 1 PM on Monday, Columbus Day I landed and released a beautiful male bow Brown Trout in the 8 lb. range. The water was @ 1500 cfs. with the runoff and even the Flats area was like an ocean current. All season I have been struggling with my presentation of my fly but on this day my jinx was finally broken. Enjoy the picture and thank you to the Father and Son from Harrisburg and Maine for taking the picture of me and my prize. The fish was released unharmed to swim another day.
