Dr. Kass was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1947. The oldest of 3 children, Morris and
Muriel his mother and father and Barbara and Martin his brother and sister.
I graduated from High School in 1964,
College in 1968 and became an Optometrist graduating from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1972.
I
am a PAST PRESIDENT OF THE NASSAU OPTOMETRIC SOCIETY
I became one of the youngest individuals
to acheive the rank of Eagle Scout from the Boy Scouts of America at age 13.
I practiced in Long Beach
Long Island and Rego Park, Queens for 27 years before relocating to Syracuse, NY. I purchased a home in Oswego County so I
could be close to my first love, Fly Fishing on the Salmon River and it's tributeries. I have belonged to the Club on
the Douglaston Salmon Run for many, many years. I have acheived uncountable memories while fishing on this river system.
I Ski, Fish, Garden and Practice Optometry in Fayetteville, NY for now 40 plus years. I love my profession, my patients
and my new office location. I still continue to attend continuing education seminars and I try to enjoy life to the fullest.
Diana my wonderful wife, Heather and Stephane my beautiful daughters are always by my side to help keep my
life and profession on a steady track.
My daughter Heather recently married a wonderful guy from Ottawa, Canada
and I welcome Domenico Luisi to my family and my new son n' law. I wished my kids the best.
Stephane my youngest
daugter just graduated from the University of North Caroline with a Masters Degree in Health Policy. I know she will be one
of the finest educators this profession has to offer. Her expertise in nutrition help me acheive a better life style resulting
in a 60 pound weight loss and a better prospective on life itself.
My Kids are great, My Wife Diana is great, My
Profession is Great and as a result my LIFE IS GREAT!
